A chimney or outdoor fireplace is one of the most permanent things you can add to a home. It has to be built right the first time. Every penetration point is properly treated so that water cannot pass through and damage the wood underneath. That is what makes the difference between a chimney that lasts and one that becomes a problem a few years down the road.
The brick and grout color are chosen by the homeowner. The crown at the top is finished to seal the chimney and shed water cleanly.

A CMU privacy wall is a full-scope job and we handle all of it. Excavation, footing, rebar placement, block laying, and then the finish of your choice on the face: full brick, thin brick, or stucco. We apply the cap on top so the wall is sealed and finished. One crew, one call, start to finish.
These walls are built to hold. The footing and rebar are not optional details. They are what keep a wall standing straight in ten years instead of leaning or cracking. We do not cut those steps to save time on the front end.

If you have failing mortar, damaged brick, or joints that have opened up over time, we can rejoint and repair. We do our best to match your existing brick and mortar color so the repair blends into the wall rather than standing out against it. An exact match is not always possible on older brick, but we take matching seriously and we will be upfront with you about what the repair will look like before we start.
Can I choose the brick and grout color?
Yes, always. On chimney work, fireplace builds, and any new brick installation, the homeowner chooses the brick and the grout color. We can help you understand how different combinations will look in place if you are unsure, but the final choice is yours.
What does a CMU privacy wall involve from start to finish?
We handle the full scope: excavation, footing pour, rebar installation, CMU block laying, and then the finish on the face and cap on the top. You choose what the wall looks like on the outside. Brick, thin brick, or stucco. Everything else is our job to get right.
Can you match the existing brick on a repair?
We do our best. Brick color and mortar shade vary by manufacturer and age, and older brick weathers in ways that are hard to perfectly replicate. We work to get as close as possible and will show you what a match looks like before committing to the repair.
Do you add chimneys or fireplaces to existing homes?
Yes. New construction and remodeling both. Call us with what you have in mind and we will walk through what the project involves from the structural side and give you an honest scope and quote.
